Christmas in the Jail Drive

“My husband is currently serving time and on one of his first nights, your ministry gave him socks when he had none. That small act of demonstrating Jesus’ love was huge to us.”

Christmas in the Jail is an annual tradition for Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry. Our jail chaplains partner with local churches and community members to bring a spirit of joy into what is the hardest time of year for those incarcerated. As they miss their families, friends, and freedom, mental health issues rise, as well as conflict, and feelings of loneliness. Christmas in the Jail provides a word of Hope as each jail uniquely celebrates through activities such as Christmas caroling and pizza parties.

This is our third annual Christmas in the Jail drive, collecting goods that chaplains and volunteers can include in Christmas gift bags. This year our biggest needs are socks, snacks, and specs. You can see specifics and order directly on our Amazon Wish List located below.

Thank you for your generosity and please call our home office with any questions at 616-784-4620, or email at office@jailministry.org.
