We believe that volunteers are the hands and feet of Jesus in the jails. Our ministry would not be possible without the two thousand men and women across the state who serve in various capacities in and out of the jail. There are many different ways for you to serve or support the mission of RTF.
There are many different ways to serve inmates in your local jail. We need men and women to lead worship services, facilitate Bible studies, mentor inmates, assist with addiction classes, operate our book cart ministry, and teach in our GRO Pods. Each jail has different needs and we would love to get you connected today.

For wounds to heal, people need to express their pain, accept the pain of the loss and grieve so that those feelings are not buried inside them. They can express them to God in a lament and bring their pain to the cross. As they experience Christ’s healing, they can begin to forgive and rebuild their lives. They are better able to face future suffering.

Our hope is that when someone leaves jail they would be welcomed with open arms into the local church to help nurture their new life in Christ. We need advocates in the local church who are willing to assist in helping returning citizens find their place in your church community.
