Reach the Forgotten’s work in the jail changes lives. Every year we receive hundreds of letters and hear stories of inmates who have been impacted by our chaplains and volunteers.
We hope to break the cycle of incarceration, transforming the lives of not just inmates, but their families and their communities as they return home.
Our mission changes us, those outside the jail and in our local churches as well. We become more compassionate, caring, and informed communities by showing up in the lives of incarcerated people. Followers of Christ become more like Jesus when we are with “the least of our brothers and sisters.”
