Open Arms

Open Arms is designed to equip the local church body to welcome individuals as they are reentering their communities after they leave jail. In this training we will help break common stigmas and help you understand struggles that inmates have. You will learn about trauma, addiction, recovery and boundaries, and receive tools and resources on how to walk alongside those that Jesus loves.

This call can feel complex, but we hope to come alongside you as you come alongside those that the Church is called to Open their Arms toward just as the Father did to the Prodigal.

This training typically takes place during a 5-hour block, but is customizable for your church’s needs.

In this video, you’ll hear how churches can break stigmas, grow in awareness of trauma and addiction, and confidently step into their role in the healing and restoration process. Whether you’re a pastor, ministry leader, or church member, this training offers practical tools and spiritual encouragement for creating a culture of welcome and support.

It’s more than training—it’s a call to be the Church.
